If you find yourself daydreaming about the way your smile looked decades ago, it may be time for a new smile.  As the dentist Polaris community members choose for their cosmetic dentistry and smile restoration needs, you can be confident that you can have the smile you dream about.  Each mouth is unique and our Polaris dentist works with you to achieve your desired results.  Depending on your needs, dentures may be right for you.

What kind of dentures should I get?

Dentures are just one way to restore one’s smile and a variety of dentures exist.  You may need a full set of dentures or partials.  Our Polaris dentist can also help with immediate dentures. This style can be placed once your mouth is prepared for them, or you may prefer implanted dentures.  Regardless of which type you choose, understand that we’ll start, first, with a consultation appointment.  Our goal is to restore your smile to your expectations. What better way to do that then to talk with you first?

Are implants necessary with dentures?

Once our Polaris dentist and you have developed an oral treatment plan together, we will discuss the details of your plan.  Implants are sometimes used with dentures as an advantageous way of keeping the teeth in place.  If you’d rather not have to worry about dentures slipping out while you talk or eat, implants can be used to your advantage.   Our team will prepare your mouth for the implants, which will then be ready for your new dentures once the tissues have healed.  Dentures secured with implants lessen your chances of getting mouth sores and eliminate the risk of losing your teeth at inopportune moments.

Restorative and cosmetic dentistry

Because of the variety of ways dentures can be made and fitted, they are a great option when you want to restore your smile.  Dentures help cosmetically improve your look, while simultaneously restoring your dental health.  Dentures replace teeth that are beyond saving or ones that are missing.  The natural look that dentures provide helps to restore your smile and oral health.  With proper care and attention to your oral hygiene you can expect your new smile to last a very long time.

We know that it can be hard to commit to getting a new smile.  However, the end results are worth the effort.  We love seeing the amazing smiles that our services provide each client and look forward to helping you on your journey towards your new smile.  Take a look at our Facebook page to learn more about our services, or simply call our office.  We’re here to help you in any way we can.
